Our Mantra

We believe bicycling is a healthy, affordable, and environmentally friendly form of transportation and recreation that should be safe and attractive to everyone who wants to ride, wherever their destination and whatever their purpose. Bicycling is good for our communities and for the people who ride, and so we work to increase the number of people who ride bikes as a regular part of their lives.

If we all work together we can minimize the spread of #COVID19. This weekend, PLEASE #StayatHome. .
As the County's Dr. Eric McDonald said, "Every individual in the county has the responsibility and the need to look at each of their activities, determine what is essential and pair down to those specific activities for this critical period of time. That is what is going to buy us the time we need and flatten the curve."
.
REMINDER: All #ChulaVista playgrounds, fitness equipment, fields, courts, the beach and dog parks are closed to discourage gatherings. These are not recommendations, they are rules to be followed. All parks are closed. Gatherings of any size are not allowed by emergency order of the @cagovernor. .

  • Biking is not a hobby.
People are riding now, more than ever for transportation and health.
People are pulling their bikes out of storage and getting them repaired so that they can safely ride to work, the pharmacy, the grocery store...
Please help ensure that bike shops stay open to support the people who rely on bikes for transportation!
Please help ensure that bike shops stay open to support the people who rely on bikes for their mental and physical health.
Call your mayor, call your council members, call the governor.
Tell the that bike shops are essential businesses!
